WCC Results - 2006
What these reports say & mean:
- Time- The time is listed first. The 'S' beside it stands
for 'Short Course Meters' (Basically, the length of the pool they swam in).
An 'X' to the left of the time means that the time was from an exhibition heat.
- F/P/S/L- Finals/Prelims/Swim-off/Lead-off Split. Some have
a 'P' meaning the time came from Monday or Tuesday of conference. An 'L' means that the time is from the lead leg of a relay, so only the first swimmer in the relay will have this. Relay results have all splits.
- Name/Age- hmmmm..
- Place- The place that swimmer came in in that particular heat.
- Points- The number of points the swimmer earned for the team
from that race.
- Improv- The amount of time gained or lost from that swimmers best
recorded time from that date and before. It's for that particular event only (Records on file are 1999-present).
A negative number is a very good thing (except for diving). It shows a time drop. A positive number shows the amount of time you
added from your previous best time.
